In 2012 Tankman was awarded the inaugural Pioneer Water Tanks Rod Hurst Award for Excellence in Customer Service. In 2019 Tankman was awarded the Pioneer Water Tanks WA Dealer of the Year award. In 2022 Tankman was a finalist in the ACCI Great Southern Business Awards for Business with up to 10 Employees. Acknowledging the hard work of our Tankman, Wes Sounness, he was presented the 2022 ACCI Great Southern Business Awards Young Business Person of the Year.
In 2025, Tankman was awarded WA Pioneer Dealer of the Year and National Dealer of the Year. On receiving these awards Owner Wes Sounness, shared his appreciation with the Tankman Team. ‘The award reflects the hard work and dedication of all our installation and administration team,’ he said. ‘I am very proud of our achievements as we continue to strive for improvements in our service.’ Water Tanks are an investment and we aim to assist our customers to achieve their water storage goals’. Pioneer’s exclusive Dealer Network is made up of 50 locals/local businesses across Australia. Tankman services an area extending to Walpole in the West, along the south coast to Hopetoun in the East and north to Beaufort River. Wes will celebrate another milestone through 10 years of ownership of Tankman in July 2026.
